Aquaventure at a glance
Aquaventure is a waterpark on the crescent of Palm Jumeirah, next to the Atlantis resort. It is open every day of the year. Ride access depends on height, so check the limits below before you travel with children.
Day ticket prices change with the season and the date. Day tickets start at AED 345 for adults and AED 295 for children up to 7 years who are under 1.20 m. From age 8, or above the height limit, the adult price applies. These are from-prices for 2026, and the price for your date shows at booking. There is no joint ticket for all Palm Jumeirah attractions.

Our picks: Aquaventure tickets
Take the day pass if the waterpark is all you want, and the combo if you also want the Lost World Aquarium on the same ticket. The day pass includes the aquarium only with that option, so the combo is the clearer choice for both; the aquarium-only ticket suits a shorter visit.

Height limits by ride
The limits are not the same for every slide.
| Ride or tower | Minimum height | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Neptune Tower | 1.20 m | โ |
| Trident Tower: Odyssey of Terror, Blackout, Vortex | 1.20 m | โ |
| Medusa's Lair, Shockwave, Hydra Racers | 1.07 m | Between 1.07 m and 1.20 m only with an adult |
For most families, children above 1.20 m can use every tower. If your child is between 1.07 m and 1.20 m, plan the day around Medusa's Lair, Shockwave and Hydra Racers, where an adult can join.
Hours, tickets and arrival
The park opens at 10:00 every day. Closing is at 18:00 or 18:30, so plan to be at your last slide by 17:30. Guests aged 13 and over can enter alone, and at 12 you should bring an adult.
Towels, lockers, AquaXpress queue passes and cabanas are sold separately. Online booking shows the price for your date. Guests with a disability card enter free together with one carer, and up to 2 more companions get 50 percent off.
If you drive, take the first exit on the right at the roundabout after the tunnel and follow the signs to the Aquaventure car park. A shuttle runs to the Ticketing Plaza. The monorail ends at the Atlantis Aquaventure station, but it is temporarily suspended for maintenance. See the getting there page.

Safety and park rules
These apply to every guest.
Life jackets
Children under 1.20 m must wear a life jacket. Watch them at all times.
Lifeguards
Follow the lifeguards' instructions. Diving jumps are not allowed.
Food and drink
Do not bring your own food or drinks, glass or alcohol into the park.
Swimwear
Wear proper swimwear. Everyday clothing is not suitable for the slides.
Dolphin Bay and the aquarium
Organised dolphin and sea lion encounters at Dolphin Bay need waterpark access on the same day. The Lost World Aquarium, the former Lost Chambers, is a separate attraction in the resort. You can add it to a waterpark ticket for AED 55 extra, or buy a combo pass. Hotel guests have access to both. Read the aquarium page for hours and prices.
If you want a calmer day by the sea instead, the beaches page explains the beach options, and the best time page shows how hot each month is.

Plan your Aquaventure day
A few practical steps for a day of slides.
Arrive for the opening
The park opens at 10:00. Arriving early gives you the longest day, which matters because closing is at 18:00 or 18:30.
Measure your children
Know your child's height before you go. The limits of 1.07 m and 1.20 m decide which towers the family can use together.
Decide on extras
Towels, lockers, AquaXpress and cabanas cost extra, and the prices are shown when you buy them. Pack your own swimwear and sun protection.
Think about the heat
From June to September the heat is strong. Mornings are easier on the legs. See the best time page and compare it with the observation deck or the aquarium for a cooler second day.
If you are travelling with children below 1.20 m, the park still works: they wear life jackets, and you stay with them. If you travel with teenagers aged 13 and over, they can enter alone, but you still need to agree on a meeting point and a time.
