Lost Chambers and Lost World Aquarium: one aquarium
The aquarium at Atlantis, The Palm was long called Lost Chambers. The operator reopened it as the Lost World Aquarium on 27 October 2025. It is the same place at the same resort, not a second aquarium on the Palm. Old searches, links and tickets that say Lost Chambers lead to this attraction.
It is open daily from 11:00 to 20:00. You enter through The Avenues at Atlantis. Parking is at P19, and a free shuttle runs from there. Wheelchairs and strollers are allowed. Prices on this page are for 2026 and the price at checkout counts.

Our picks: Lost World Aquarium
The aquarium-only ticket covers Ambassador Lagoon, and the behind-the-scenes tour comes with its option. If you would rather pair the aquarium with waterpark slides on the same day, the combo ticket includes it. A further aquarium ticket suits a short visit.

Ticket prices and age groups
AED, 2026. Ticket agents list these prices. The gate price can differ.
| Group | Age | Price (AED) |
|---|---|---|
| Adult | 8 years and older | from 170 |
| Child | 3 to 7 years | from 125 |
| Toddler | Under 2, or 2 and younger | Free |
Children under 12 must come with an adult. For two-year-olds, the free entry rule is worded two ways, so ask at booking if your child is exactly 2. For most visitors, an adult ticket booked online for a weekday is the simple choice. Weekends and holidays are busier.
Booking and what to expect
Book ahead on weekends and holidays, and for limited extra programmes. A ticket is not a promise of a specific show time, so check the schedule on the day.
The aquarium sits inside the Atlantis resort, so it works well on a day when you do not want sun. In summer, when the outdoor temperatures are high, the indoor visit is the comfortable one. See the best time page for monthly temperatures.
Plan around the opening hours: entry until the evening makes a late visit possible after a morning elsewhere, such as the observation deck.

Combo tickets with the waterpark
The aquarium is not part of every waterpark ticket.
Add-on
You can add the aquarium to an Aquaventure day ticket for AED 55 extra, or buy a separate combo pass.
Hotel guests
Guests of the resort have access to both the waterpark and the aquarium.
Seven days
Some combo passes allow one entry to each attraction within 7 days of activation, on different days. Read the terms of the pass you buy.
Not automatic
Do not assume a plain waterpark ticket includes the aquarium. Check the list of inclusions before you pay.
For the waterpark rides, hours and height limits, see the Aquaventure page. For most visitors who want both, the add-on to a waterpark day ticket is the simplest.
Getting there
The aquarium is at the Atlantis resort on the crescent. The monorail ends at the Atlantis Aquaventure station, but it is temporarily suspended for maintenance, so plan on a taxi or a car. Use parking P19 and the free shuttle. The getting there page lists the routes.
From the tanks you can see fish such as the lionfish in the picture and jellyfish in separate displays. What you see depends on the day, so treat any species as a possibility, not a promise.

Is it worth a visit?
Who the aquarium suits, and when.
Families
Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed, and the child price starts at age 3. It is an easy half day with younger children.
Hot days
The visit is indoors, so it suits the summer months when the heat outside is strong.
Waterpark guests
If you already have an Aquaventure day, the add-on for AED 55 is cheaper than a second full ticket. Hotel guests have both.
A short Palm stay
Combine it with the observation deck on a different part of the day, or see the other ideas for the Palm.
Check the schedule for any shows or extras on the day you go, because these can change. Check your ticket for the entry time, and arrive through The Avenues.
